Members,

    The road is in fair to good condition There are many ruts filled with water, but you can steer around most of them. The Ferry road is better than the Motor Cross road. The middle field and parking lot are gone.The middle field parking lot has been tilled to stop the erosion along with about half of the field to the right of the parking lot (the field to the left where we had the picnic has been harvested and now is tilled). What is left of the field to the right would be much to short to use effectively. The only grass left, at least for now is the grass we flew off of a couple of years ago and that is the grass at the North tree line. This is the only grass left in the meadows, The farmer in the past has tried to save us a spot to fly as long as possible as winter approaches but there is no guarantee how long this field will be available. Remember, he does run a business.

The 2012 Membership renewal period will be from December 01, 2011 to March 01, 2012. The reason for this change is to give us a little more time to send out new members badge and current members year stickers before members are regularly using the fields. Please watch your mail for the renewal application which will be mailed to you at the end of November. Please read it carefully since contact information has changed. Paul DeJohn will be handling all mailed renewal applications and any questions on your membership should be addressed to him or myself. You will be able to use Pay Pal or the mail to complete the renewal process.
