Field Conditions

Members,

We are flying from the North Flying Field until further notice. The South Flying Field has a flooded parking lot. Both fields are in relatively spectacular shape considering the severity of the flooding. The roads are another story, passable but very rutty until they are graded. Remember there are three ways into the field, the South entrance, which takes you past the Ferry, the west entrance which takes you past the Moto-cross track and the North entrance which is the Wethersfield entrance ( I believe it is Elm Street off of Rt. 3). Until they grade the South and West roads the best way in, right now, is the North entrance.

Fueling or removing fuel from your plane will be done in the dirt areas adjacent to the town roads. Parking is in the North parking lot. You will need the combination given to you in the club newsletter. Remember to wear your badge, the constable will be patrolling the area. The windsock, frequency pins and club rules have been posted at the North Field. The Porta-potty has been ordered and should be there next week. Happy flying, see you there!
